MCALLEN, Texas — Concerned Veterans for America Action (CVA Action) on Tuesday announced its endorsement of Eric Flores in his bid to represent Texas’ 34th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Jessica Villarreal, advisor to CVA Action in Texas, released the following statement:
“Everyone in the Lone Star State deserves a leader like Flores who will put people over politics. As a veteran, he has demonstrated a dedication to duty and service to the American people and is the right person to bring these characteristics to Washington on behalf of the People of Texas’ 34th District. His principled stances on energy independence, health care choice, and foreign policy position him well to lead on the some of the toughest challenges America faces. CVA Action urges Texans in the 34th District to vote for Eric Flores to represent them in the House of Representatives.”
Through their service, veterans have gained a unique perspective on the issues facing our country and their local communities, and they deserve a strong leader in Washington who will bring their voices to bear. CVA Action recognizes Flores’ principled leadership and will deploy its vast grassroots army in the Lone Star State to educate and mobilize voters to ensure he will be a voice for Texans in Washington.
