Largest veterans’ grassroots election group backs Virginia combat veteran to honor the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes, champion health care choice, and revitalize the economy
RICHMOND, Va. – Concerned Veterans for America Action (CVA Action) today announced its endorsement of Derrick Anderson for Virginia’s District 7 U.S. House of Representatives seat.
Ron Aksel, CVA Action Senior Advisor in Virginia, had this to say about the endorsement:
“Derrick Anderson is a retired U.S. Army combat veteran, who deployed to the Middle East, as a U.S. Army special forces officer. He understands what sacrifices our service members make and the struggles veterans face when they come home after serving their country.
Anderson will take a firm stand for our nation’s heroes and military families, honoring America’s promise to those who served by holding the Department of Veterans Affairs accountable, removing red tape, restoring fiscal responsibility, and empowering veterans to choose when and where they receive their health care.
Virginians need a strong leader who will turn the page on broken politics in Washington, hold bureaucrats responsible, rein in reckless spending, and restore a strong national defense. CVA Action urges voters to vote for Anderson to represent them in D.C.”
