Largest veterans’ grassroots election group backs Nevada combat veteran to fix broken VA health care system, revitalize the economy, and honor the sacrifices of America’s heroes
Las Vegas, NV – Concerned Veterans for America Action (CVA Action) announced today support for Sam Brown’s bid for the U.S. Senate to represent Nevadans in Washington, D.C.
CVA Action announced last year the organization would be engaging earlier and in more primaries than ever before. Today’s endorsements put that promise into action.
Leo Garcia, CVA Action Senior Advisor in Nevada, had this to say about the endorsement:
“As a combat veteran who deployed to Afghanistan and received a Purple Heart for his sacrifices, Sam Brown has experienced the struggles our nation’s heroes face when they come home after serving their country.
He understands the true cost of war and will seek to end America’s forever wars. Brown will take a firm stand for veterans and military families in Nevada. He will honor our country’s promise to those who served by removing red tape and empowering veterans to choose when and where they receive their health care.
Nevadans deserve a leader like Sam Brown who will put people ahead of politics, hold bad bureaucrats accountable, rein in reckless spending, and restore a strong national defense. CVA Action urges Nevadans to vote for Brown, a bold voice to represent them in a turbulent Washington.”
