Largest veterans’ grassroots election group backs Montana veteran to take on incumbent Democrat Jon Tester and fix broken VA system, revitalize the economy, and honor the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes
Bozeman, MT – Concerned Veterans for America Action (CVA Action) announced today support for Tim Sheehy’s bid for the U.S. Senate against incumbent Democrat Jon Tester.
CVA Action is getting involved earlier than ever before in federal and state primaries to elect better candidates who are strong advocates for policies that will improve the lives of veterans, military families and all Americans.
Chris Enget, CVA Action Senior Advisor in Montana, had this to say about the endorsement:
“As a decorated combat veteran who completed several deployments and countless missions overseas, Tim Sheehy understands the struggles our nation’s heroes face when they come home after serving their country. Unlike Senator Jon Tester, Sheehy won’t be a rubber stamp for President Biden’s failed agenda.
Sen. Tester has proven he’ll side with the VA bureaucracy over veterans and their health care needs every time. As Chairman of the Senate VA Committee, he’s had ample opportunity to streamline the VA system, support true choice in care, and hold the VA accountable for poor management, but to no avail. Sheehy on the other hand will take a firm stand for veterans and military families in Montana, honoring our nation’s promise to those who served by removing red tape and empowering veterans to choose when and where they receive their health care.
Montanans deserve a change in direction from the status quo. They need a leader like Tim Sheehy to be their steady voice in a turbulent Washington, someone who will hold bad bureaucrats accountable, rein in reckless spending, and restore America’s strong national defense. CVA Action urges voters to vote for Sheehy to represent them in Washington.”
