DES MOINES, Iowa — Concerned Veterans for America Action (CVAA) today announced its endorsement of Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks for reelection in Iowa’s 1st Congressional District.
A 24-year U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves veteran and member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, Miller-Meeks has been a steadfast advocate for improving the way veterans receive health care. She is an original cosponsor of the Take Care of America’s Veterans Act (TCAVA), a comprehensive legislative package to strengthen access to timely care and ensure veterans have greater choice over where and how they receive it.
“Mariannette Miller-Meeks knows firsthand what it means to serve, and she has carried that commitment with her to Congress,” said CVAA Senior Advisor John Vick. “She has been a strong partner in the effort to give veterans greater choice over their health care and hold Washington accountable for delivering on its promises. Iowans can count on her to keep bringing that same focus on service, accountability, and results to Congress.”
