Veterans group points to principled, unwavering leadership that honors sacrifices of Sunshine State veterans, military communities
TAMPA, Fla. — Concerned Veterans for America Action (CVA Action) on Thursday announced its endorsement of Laurel Lee for election to represent Florida’s 15th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
CVA Action will lean on a variety of tactics—including its signature grassroots army—to support her election to Congress.
David Huston, CVA Action Advisor for Florida, had this to say about the endorsement:
“CVA Action is proud to endorse Laurel Lee in her bid to represent Florida’s 15th Congressional District in Congress. From her experience as a lawyer and judge to her time serving as Florida’s Secretary of State and beyond, Lee has shown a deep and empathetic understanding of the issues important to Floridians. And as the product of a proud military family herself, she has a firsthand connection to the service and sacrifice of our nation’s bravest and will bring that perspective to fight for Florida’s veterans in Washington.
“Lee will bring her steadfast dedication to her neighbors and communities in the 15th District as she tackles the tough issues in Washington. And her commitment to the principles she shares with her fellow Floridians will serve the Sunshine State and the country well as she works to shape a better American foreign policy, empower veterans with the health care choice and options they have earned, and get America back on a more responsible financial track.
“Laurel Lee understands the pain inflicted by the constant conflict and irresponsible policies from Washington and is the tested, principled leader Floridians need to emerge stronger. CVA Action urges the voters in Florida’s 15th Congressional District vote for Laurel Lee to represent them in the United States House of Representatives.”
CVA Action is dedicated to electing candidates based on their active leadership roles on top policy priorities to improve the lives of our nation’s veterans and all Americans.
