Veterans group points to principled, unwavering leadership that honors sacrifices of Tar heel State veterans, military communities
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Concerned Veterans for America Action (CVA Action) on Thursday announced its endorsement of U.S. Rep. Ted Budd for election to represent North Carolinians in the U.S. Senate.
Budd’s principled approach to and understanding of the issues facing North Carolinians has been evident in his short time in Washington. He is a determined champion for the Tar Heel State, guided by the principles he shares with his fellow North Carolinians.
CVA Action will lean on a variety of tactics—including its signature grassroots army—to support his election to the U.S. Senate.
John Byrnes, CVA Action Advisor for North Carolina, had this to say about the endorsement:
“A true champion for North Carolina’s veterans, military communities, and families on a host of issues, Budd has proven himself to be the leader every North Carolinian needs in the Senate. As a business owner, he recognizes the pain Washington’s reckless spending practices and more than $30 trillion in national debt inflict on hardworking North Carolinians and is fighting to reverse harmful trends and restore fiscal responsibility in Washington. Budd has worked tirelessly to remove harsh regulations, excessive red tape, and bureaucratic barriers to empower veterans to live their best and most fulfilled lives. For Tar Heel State veterans and military communities, a better ally in Congress cannot be found.
“Budd is the dedicated, principled leader needed to help preserve the liberties our nation’s veterans have fought and sacrificed to defend. He is a true representative of the people and his community, and CVA Action urges North Carolina voters to elect Ted Budd to represent them in the United States Senate.”
CVA Action is dedicated to electing candidates based on their active leadership roles on top policy priorities to improve the lives of our nation’s veterans and all Americans.
