CVA Action throws support behind Perdue in runoff election

ARLINGTON, Va.—Concerned Veterans for America Action (CVA Action) endorsed Senator David Perdue for re-election to the U.S. Senate. Sen. Perdue has earned the full support of CVA Action for his leadership in bringing needed accountability and transparency to the Department of Veterans Affairs and taking action to put veterans and their families in the driver’s seat of their health care. The organization will leverage all of its resources, including the mobilization of its grassroots army, to support Perdue’s re-election in the January runoff.

CVA Action Senior Advisor Nate Anderson had this to say about the group’s support for Senator Perdue:

“Any lawmaker representing the state of Georgia must demonstrate an eagerness to lower barriers to prosperity faced by its citizens, and with nearly 650,000 veterans residing in the Peach State, the military community cannot be ignored. More than ever, Georgia’s active duty families and veterans need a leader in Washington who will stand up and fight for principled solutions to our biggest challenges. Senator David Perdue has proven he is that leader. From his support for expanding health care options for veterans to his co-sponsorship of legislation that brought much needed accountability to the VA, Senator Perdue is a proven champion who will represent the people of Georgia in Washington and lead with courage.”

With this endorsement, Concerned Veterans for America Action will employ the full spectrum of its capabilities urging Georgia’s veterans, active duty families, and all Georgia voters to support Senator Perdue’s re-election this January.
